How Healthy Behaviors Increase School Readiness workshop

“This workshop will present strategies that parents/caregiv- ers can use to empower families in supporting their child’s school readiness. Healthy eating, physical fitness, and tips for a healthy school year will be discussed. We will explore creative ways parents can use materials found around the home. This workshop will include practical applications from research, hands-on experience, group discussions and healthy snacks. This program is funded by the Buncombe Partnership for Children (formerly Smart Start of Buncombe County).”
