Hood Huggers International tour with DeWayne Barton. “History. Art. Poetry. Music. Community green spaces. Vivid voices. Grassroots initiatives. The past, present, and future of African-Americans in Asheville is a story of resilience. Hood Tours is an intimate, interactive experience that is guaranteed to leave you looking at this mountain town with new eyes.

Driving Tours occur Thursday through Saturday. Driving tour covers Burton st Community, Downtown and East End Valley.  Cost for a driving tour is $30/adult and $15/youth ages 4-17( taxes and fees are not included).   Requires 5 people minimum for this tour.

Walking Tours occur Thursday through Saturday.  Walking tours Burton Street Community (West Asheville) and East End Valley Street (Downtown) We require a minimum of 4 people for these tours. Cost for a walking tours is $20/adult and $10/youth ages 4-17 (taxes and fees are not included).
