The Exploring Joara Foundation and Warren Wilson College invite the community to join us at the Berry Site for our 16th Annual Field Day. Join us for an interactive day of primitive skills demonstrations, Native American crafts, storytelling, artifact displays, and archaeology in action, Discover the story of 16th century Spanish explorers and Native Americans who once lived here, and learn how their encounter forever changed the direction of America’s history.
