Craft for Critters: Benefit & Adoption Drive

On Saturday, August 20 from 10am – 6pm, Grovewood Gallery will host a benefit and adoption drive for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (BWAR), a No-Kill animal rescue organization here in Asheville. Grovewood will donate 10% of all gallery sales to BWAR’s “Help Me Heal Fund” that provides care for orphaned animals with serious medical conditions, helping them recover so they can be adopted into loving homes.
During the benefit, customers can save 10% on all ceramic art and enter a raffle to win a “Tubby Cat” sculpture by Bandana Yardbirds and a set of hand-thrown porcelain critter mugs by Asheville artist Laura Cooke. Visitors will also have the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and take a free, self-guided tour of the artist studios on the Grovewood grounds from 11am – 4pm. Adoptable dogs and cats will be on location from noon – 4pm.
