Join the Transylvania Farmers’ Market for an early 4th of July celebration this Saturday morning! There will be original live music by the AT Band, kids can create firework rings and fun paper plate fans at the Kids Corner, and it’s a great time to shop for the upcoming holiday… pick up all the fixings for great grilling or a festive picnic!
Plus, the North Carolina Cooperative Extension- Transylvania County Educational Booth on Healthy Habitats will tackle all local trails and trekking! The purpose will be to orient booth visitors to different trails in the area while also providing information on trail overuse, trail courtesy between different users, and how to help support trail maintenance and upkeep efforts. Stop by to chat with experts and learn more.
AND… Join us for a FREE new yoga & walking program!
Yoga and walking in beautiful downtown Brevard this summer! A free class led by Sarah Austin (Southern Mandala Yoga) that is open to all ages and experience levels. Starts at 9:00 a.m. with a relaxing 30 minutes of stretching to wake the body up. Afterwards, join the group for a 20-30 minute scenic walk that will wind through the beautiful neighborhoods of downtown. The walk will end at the market so that you can enjoy breakfast, shopping, and the beautiful thriving community the market has to offer. Whether you are experienced at yoga or are curious and looking for a healthy start to your Saturday morning, everyone is welcome. Meet at the market info booth at 9:00am.
