Bogs, Bugs and Beavers Guided Walks @ Cradle of Forestry - Historic Site & Discovery Center  | Pisgah Forest | North Carolina | United States

1st walk- 10:30am
2nd walk- 2:00pm

Guided walks along the Pink Beds Trail interpret the natural history of beavers, their wetland-creating activities and the changing habitats they create.

The programs begin in the Forest Discovery Center with a talk about beavers and their special adaptations. From there we will
continue to the Pink Beds loop trail with a total walking distance of about 1.75 miles.

Each walk is approximately 1.5 hours. Bring water and snacks if needed. Wear appropriate shoes and clothing for hiking on a trail.
