3338 Asheville Highway, Pisgah Forest, NC  … “We are open year round with both INDOOR and OUTDOOR mining. We have a free picnic area by the river and great family games like cornhole and tictactoe for you to enjoy. Mining can be an hour activity or an all day adventure. Pick the bucket that is right for your family and dive in. Ages 2 and up have a blast. If your little ones get a little distracted, we have a sandbox and other kids games right there by the sluice so that you can keep an eye on them while you sift for treasure. Mine for Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds and More! We now offer Black Light Mining! Can you guess which minerals are fluorescing??? Come out and discovery while you are mining which minerals will glow a different color in the black light!”
