ArtVenture – with Tami Magidson and Amanda Annarino
June 12th – 16th
Rising 1st-9th grade

Campers will write campfire stories with a local author, make beautiful terrariums, unique birdhouses, sew their very own keepsake pouches, learn to make candles and soap, create journals to write about their ArtVenture, and even have a special opportunity to paint with a few well known local artists.

Tuition is $195.00 for ArtSpace students and $210.00 for others.

Hours: 9:00-4:00.
Extended Hours: 8:30-9:00 ($15.00 for the week); 4:00 – 5:30 ($20.00 for the week)

May The Force Be With You: Mindfulness for Young Jedis and Light Warriors – with Adina Arden-Cooper
June 19th – 23rd
Rising  5th – 9th Grade

Campers will connect with and channel their personal power through creative activities that will nurture their bodies, minds, and spirits. They will explore ways to express themselves through art and community engagement to help guide them in their efforts to fight the forces of darkness and make a positive difference in the world.

Dancing Divas & Divos – with Rebecca Triplett

Rising 4th – 6th grades

Leaps…turns…dance…oh my! Join us for a fun week of ballet, jazz and modern dance. Beginner to intermediate levels welcome!

ArtCamp! – with Tami and Clay Magidson
July 10th – 14th
Rising 1st – 8th grades

Students will learn how to throw pottery on a wheel, trim, wax, glaze, and fire pieces of pottery. Students will also be given a lesson in color theory before learning how to successfully mix colors and then produce paintings which they will hang to be shown in a final art Show. Students will learn how to create journals from raw materials which will serve as sketchbooks and a place to put down creative ideas that they come up with throughout the week. ArtCampers will also create mixed media pieces of art from raw materials which they will also frame by piecing together cut frames.

Young Filmmaker’s Camp: Movie Making 101 – with Steve Lipe

Rising 5th – 8th grades

Calling all directors, actors, videographers!   ArtSpace is offering an exciting week of video production.  Using multiple cameras, special effects, editing techniques, and much, much more, camp participants will explore the possibilities in front of, and behind, the camera, as well as editing video and producing original music for heightened movie experiences.  Friday will conclude with an afternoon of “World Premiers” as we enjoy the fruits of our labors.

Tuition is $195.00 for ArtSpace students and $210.00 for others.

Robotics – with Steve Lipe
July 24th – 28th
Rising 5th – 8th grades

They’re everywhere, and becoming more a part of our everyday life.  This camp will explore the design and programming of robots to solve a variety of challenges. We will also explore the principals of simple machines, to gain a better understanding of design and mechanical principles.  We will be using LEGO Mindstorm NXT and EV3 platforms in our exploration of the fascinating world of programming and design of robots.

Tuition is $195.00 for ArtSpace students and $210.00 for others.

Shakespeare Academy – with John Hall
July 24th – August 4th
Rising 7th – 12th grades

Immerse yourself in all things Shakespeare! Led by ArtSpace educator John Hall and professional actor/teacher Michael MacCauley, this two-week camp will include workshops on stage combat, character development, script interpretation and Elizabethan history, and will culminate with a performance of a Shakespeare play!

Tuition is $390.00 for ArtSpace students and $420.00 for others.

Twirling, tutus and tons of Fun! Join us for a fun week dancing and exploring all the famous ballets. No previous ballet experience necessary to have a great time at this camp!
