Summer Camp
Camp Childcare Science Summer Camp TC Roberson

June 26th-29th: X-Stream Ecology (2nd-6th Graders) … Explore local water ecosystems and investigate the organisms that inhabit them. Students will travel to local streams and investigate the water and numerous life-forms that call water home.

 

July 10th-13th: Awesome Anatomy (5th-8th Graders) … Come explore the anatomy of a flower, worm, and frog through hands on dissection. Not for the squeamish! Gloves, aprons, goggles, and tools provided. Reserved for mature, rising 5th – 8th graders.

 

Aug 7th-10th: Physics of Flight (2nd-6th Graders) … Launch rockets, make and shoot a potato gun, build a small-scale hovercraft and ride on a life-sized one. Experiment with a variety of catapult designs as you explore Newton’s Laws of Motion.

 

Aug 14th-17th: Crazy Chemistry (2nd-6th Graders) … Chemistry is all around us. In this camp students will investigate matter and its properties through a variety of hands-on laboratory experiments.
