UNC Asheville and Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) are hosting the first ever “Science in the Streets” in Asheville on April 7th. The event will run from 4:30pm-6:30pm and will take place throughout downtown Asheville. The goal is for locals and visitors alike to enjoy hands-on science at various locations. 10 businesses in downtown Asheville will have a table easily accessible to pedestrians on April 7th. Science groups, nonprofits, and clubs will host hands-on activities at the tables, to wow the public with fun science and to help support the festive atmosphere of a Friday evening in town.
