GET YOUR HANDS ON SOME LOCAL GEAR
Come see and test out all the amazing outdoor gear made right here in WNC, from bikes to boats to bags to shoes, backpacks, climbing harnesses, tents, camp furniture, even entire campers and portable kitchens! Whatever your sport, there’s a company in WNC making extraordinary equipment to help you haul your gear, perform your best, and relax in comfort afterwards.

ON-SITE EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
We’ve got lots of exciting on-site events and activities. There will be events and demo activities at nearly every one of our 25+ booths, with highlights including a free 30ft climbing tower sponsored by Camp Cedar Cliff, and on-water demos of locally made liquidlogic and Native Watercraft kayaks, sponsored by Diamond Brand Gear. You’ll also be able to test your caving might on the infamous Swaygo Squeeze Box!

When the squeeze gets to you, you’ll be able to relax and listen to great live music in a an ENO hammock or Blue Ridge Chair as you re-fuel with tasty bites and drinks on the patio or in the bar. Speaking of which…

DELICIOUS LOCAL FOOD AND DRINKS
The Salvage Station and their awesome on-site restaurant will be serving up delicious fare like their insane loaded Nachos El Camino (a Gear Builder favorite) and locally sourced Beefaloaf burger.

They’re also ordering up some special Gear Builder collaboration beers from local breweries to keep the local gear love rolling at their full bar. And for those with a sweet tooth, The Hop will be onsite with their ice cream cart.

FAMILY FRIENDLY, BUT PLEASE DON’T BRING DOGS…
The event is very family-friendly, but unfortunately, **outside dogs are not allowed at the Salvage Station**. This is about safety, both for the dogs as well as kids and others.

However, we will have a handful of doggie guests from Brother Wolf in a special, enclosed adoption area, so if you simply must have canine companionship, we’ve got you covered (and who knows, you might even take a dog home with you to help you get outside and enjoy your fresh new local gear!)

Brother Wolf will also be talking about their Outward Hounds Hiking Club, which is a perfect way to help a hound in need get out and play in the mountains we all love.
