Cherokee Stickball Demonstration @ UNCA Campus Intramural Fields | Asheville | North Carolina | United States

Featuring our local team, Wa le la “the Hummingbirds”! Stickball is an ancient game still played throughout the Cherokee Nation and is similar, in some ways, to lacrosse! This event is free and taking place at the UNCA Rec Field (Blue Turf). Resources on the sport and it’s history are available for the classroom too!
