Haywood Heart to Heart 5K
Join us for a self-timed 5K to support our awesome friend and co-worker, Jacob. Jacob is a nurse on the cardiac floor at Haywood Regional Medical Center who underwent a life-threatening illness and open heart surgery in July. He and his wife, Kalane have a one year old little girl, and another sweet baby on the way.
Sprint, jog, walk, or mosey along this easy rolling course following the beautiful Lake Junalaska trail.
Beverages and snacks will be available for sale before and after the run, and we will also have a DJ for entertainment. All proceeds go directly to Jacob and his family to assist them as he recovers. Let’s jog for Jacob, and put our cardio to use!
