Fire Escape: Fire-Safety Summer Camp (Middle School Aged) @ Asheville Fire Department | Arden | North Carolina | United States

June 19-22, Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm. FREE.

Fire Escape is a unique opportunity for middle school aged youth to gain an appreciation of fire and life safety issues, develop valuable skills used in search and rescue operations, increase team building skills, and become an advocate for safety. Activities at Fire Escape are highly interactive and hands-on in nature. Most activities are conducted in pairs or teams, in which the campers must work together and rely on each other to succeed. The nature of the activities and the locations where they are conducted require campers to follow explicit rules in order to ensure everyone’s safety.

Ages 11-13/Rising 6th-8th grades.
Space is limited to 30 youth.
