Our Homecoming & Family Weekend brings together Bulldogs of all ages for a weekend filled with fun and UNC Asheville spirit as we celebrate the university’s 90th anniversary! We’ve got soccer games, back-to-class sessions, special alumni events, our annual Homecoming Parade and Family Weekend picnic, and more.
Whether you’re an alum who misses those sunny days on the Quad or a current student who wants to share the UNC Asheville experience with family, this weekend is sure to bring back fond memories and create new ones to treasure. We hope to see you there!

Friday, September 22
5 p.m. – Family Weekend Welcome Reception; Laurel Forum
drop in until 6:30 p.m.
6 p.m. – Alumni Awards Reception; Scholarship Deck
6:30 p.m. – Alumni Awards Dinner; SHE 417 in Kimmel Arena
7 p.m. – Volleyball Game; Justice Gym
8 p.m. – Evening Reception at Well Played (Downtown Asheville)
Saturday, September 23
10 or 10:30 a.m. – Hall of Fame Brunch; SHE 417
10:00 a.m. – Back to Class sessions; various classrooms
12:00 p.m. – Homecoming & Family Weekend Picnic; Quad
1:30 p.m. – Golf Cart Homecoming Parade
2 p.m. – Tailgate w/ Rocky’s Kid Zone; Location TBD
3 p.m. – Women’s Soccer Game; Greenwood Field
5 p.m. – Alumni Zone at the Soccer Game; Greenwood Field
6 p.m. – Men’s Soccer Game; Greenwood Field
8 p.m. – Closeout Event; Green Man Brewery (Downtown Asheville)
